I'd rather play him with 3 games worth of film of him in their offense than playing him his first game back.

They could always flex it but I highly doubt it will due to the games that are on the slate that week to be nationally televised. The tentative SNF game that week is Cowboys-Colts and the CBS A-game that week is Bengals-Chiefs. NBC isn't about to give up a Cowboys home game and CBS isn't about to give up a rematch of last year's AFC Championship with Mahomes and Burrow.
