3. Dotson and Pickens both have made some tough or contested catches using superior athletic ability. I think Pickens will be a Diva. I worry about Olave’s weight/strength meaning faster corners will just ride him off routes.

Burks is who I wanted. I understood the Olave pick b/c of the role, but these NFL corners are going to eat him up. He's only going to be effective when he has separation or is wide open. I don't expect him to have a high contested catch rate.

Maybe 7 or 8, but that's based off watching college.

Olave got really good separation vs the Falcons, but could not win the deep balls vs the Bucs.

However, there's good reason to believe that the Bucs' D is on another level compared to the Steelers and the Browns. Especially the Browns given how they were exploited by the Jets with the Jets overcoming a two score lead with no timeouts and less than 2:00 left.

To be more sure, I'd have to see Olave vs an "average" NFL defense. (Assuming that the Falcons are below-average.) By contrast, Dotson has played the Lions and Jags. Pickens is not exactly lighting things on fire against a Browns pass D that was torched by the J-E-T-S. For Jameson Williams' sake, I hope he recovers. Players can recover from an ACL today in a way they couldn't a generation ago, but it's still tough for a WR as opposed to other positions.

The game I was watching last Sunday had Olave open deep multiple times, but the QB couldn’t throw the pass accurately enough.
When he finally did… Olave stretched and got to it, but ate turf and fumbled!!!
