Silver lining, Olave. (1 Viewer)

Young man balled out and I’m excited to have him on the team. Yet another pick I wasn’t excited about that is proving me wrong so far. Love it. Good job young fella keep it up!
Agree on the Olave comments, but who are all these “yet anothers”? If we had many of those we wouldn’t be in this position.

I was speaking of Werner and Taylor. Two picks I wasn’t excited about to go along with Olave. More just making fun of my lack of scouting skills lol.

The trade value will always be associated with him, win lose or draw.

Do we actually know if we lost that trade in terms of overall value, though?

Total assets lost in acquiring the 11th overall pick in the 2022 draft: two 2022 3rds, 2022 4th, 2022 7th, 2023 1st, 2024 2nd. We also got a 2022 6th back in return. It may seem like a lot from first glance, but we also kept our 1st and 2nd round picks in the 2022 draft. I'd be curious to know where we ended up on the draft trade calculator.

I agree 💯 with this post. I wasn't excited about him either so I hope and pray he makes me eat my words all the way to the Pro-Bowl and/or the SuperBowl (Wishful Thinking) 😆

I don't know about draft value, but value don't play football, players do.

I still remember how we laugh at the Clowns for their draft trade to get Julio Jones.

I don't see it as that big of deal, the meat of what we gave up was a future 2nd and and two 3rds in order to use our 1st round pick a year early. It's not near the compensation given for Julio.

Who else needs a QB?

I have: Seattle, New England, Carolina, Detroit (?), and...............that's about it.
We have no picks and passing on Hurts a couple of years ago looks like a bad decision. I don't even know if I trust this front office to draft a QB at this point.
