As a person he’s awesome but if he is having issues with the team then he’s self sabotaging. I don’t think anyone would leak this info to diminish his character. He can get cut without much fanfare anyway.

It's only hard to see it any other way if you already decided it is that way and you assume that if Winston refused to start, then his teammates would know about it.

If Winston did refuse to start and we're just now hearing about it, then maybe the rest of the team didn't know about it when they voted for him.

I thought things like QB changes were discussed in private with the two QBs first. Maybe not. Maybe he went into the full locker room and said “Jameis is starting!”

Im not buying it. Every NFL QB wants to start if able. And it never seemed like Winston was an option anyway.. it's sad as bad as Dalton was, he was the unquestioned option every week

Especially with that NOF exposé sit down with Jameis where pretty much everyone’s opinion of DA dropped afterwards. If this happened anywhere in that timeframe it gets leaked to the media with the quickness

SR is not indicative of all of Saints fans. Most fans won’t care if Jameis is cut. For some reason many people on here think that Jameis is fixable. “We just need a bigger sample size to see if he’s the future…”
