LOL. Been following them for my entire life. And yes, I remember.

Times have also changed. A lot. The money has gotten greater.

Also…I acknowledged that yes, there are times when things are close, that certain things can help. But as we’ve seen even with having Payton and Brees, we couldn’t lure players with lesser offers. Money talks. Always will.

The other teams have the capabilities of “maneuvering”. There is nothing magical that Loomis does.

I have a strong suspicion that the reason CGM so quickly and apparently easily agreed to a contract restructuring was so he’ll be released. I think both parties are ready for a fresh start.
