Primetime Brees (1 Viewer)

New Orleans may never see the sustained greatness that we witnessed again. I'll never take my Drew Brees Fathead down.
The first jersey that I ever bought was a gold BREES jersey.

(He was signed on the 14th of March. One day after my birthday, so it was a belated birthday gift to myself!)

(Been hanging up on the wall since and now it's adorned with beads from the Lombardi Gras parade!)

The 09 Patriots game was the best ever.

never. any. doubt.

I took that Monday off ( as did our whole "season tix crew" ) and we started tailgating at 11am that morning. Okeefe and Julia parking lot ( now multi use development )

That dome was LIT.

ahhhh man - what a great memory. Thanks for that reminder.

The 40-first down game against the Cowboys is near and dear to my heart. A lot of Brees magic and great running.

I almost didn't go to the game because my hate for Dallas is that strong. That weekend was also coupled with a fun SR.com golf outing at Audubon Park.

Is it me or regular season Brees have put on the greatest shows the NFL has ever seen when it’s primetime football (Monday Nights, Sunday Nights maybe even Thursday Night). Most notably when he’s in the Dome and it’s prime time we normally dominate handing out blowouts. Wonder if there are any stats to prove this.
Drew was fun to watch! No matter what our record is going forward, I won’t have the feeling that I had when Drew was here. The entire WhoDat Nation had a connection with him.

Yeah there was a stretch there where it was like prime time was just about always a win. Seems where we had some other stretch of seasons where the saints didn’t lose a game in month of October.

As someone mentioned earlier. Drew and company gave me and my boys a ton of good memories watching saints games. The 2009 season the highest of the highs.

I happened to be watching that game from a restaurant bar in Naperville Ill. while wearing my 1990 Saints starter jacket.

NGL, that was a good night to be a Saint's fan. Felt like vindication for all those 49'ers failures I sat thru while other teams fans smirked. They enjoyed watching almost as much. It was glorious.

True dat! Brees was unreal. Hope I'm wrong but we may never see a player or QB close to Brees caliber in and off the field. I just love watching him command and lead our offense. Just incredible accuracy.

Definitely have some fond memories of parlaying the Saints spread with whatever the "over" was in some of those primetime Brees games.
