Derek Carr practiced today. (1 Viewer)

Why is Carr taking 1st team snaps after his second concussion in 3 weeks? There is a player safety concern.
It’s becoming clear to me that there is an emphasis to justify the mistake of bringing Carr in over going all out to win.
With the way Loomis was attacking fans last night the evidence of how poorly run our team is run is overwhelming.

Sean and Drew built a brick house, now we have a straw house with no foundation.

A friend of mine was concussed on the job. (police officer) She was out for a week but when she returned she was having problems. Eventually she had to retire and go on disability. Thirty years later and she can't do simple math in her head and has to read with one eye closed.

Too much at stake for DA. If he wins with JW or TH, the heat for the Carr signing will rise.

I don’t believe Carr faked his injury and instead think he’s going to play even if he should not.

However, I will also say that if he gets all the first team reps he needs to start, because contrary to what the Madden all-stars think, it’s a lot harder to win playing the back up if he doesn’t get reps doing the install with the 1’s during the week before the game.

Agree. The flip side to this is how much is at stake for Carr or any marginal QB. You don't ever open the door to competition. The "fake injury" crowd doesn't get that. There is no way Carr isn't advocating to start even if he can't go. The same thing happened with Winston and the broken back. Weak leadership fearing uncontrolled outcomes/controversy saw Winston start after an injury, saw Dalton beyond 11/1 when we couldn't score points, and will see that Carr starts vs Carolina. Weak coaches make bad decisions out of fear.

Ridiculous. How does someone keep getting concussions yet the team thinks it's a good idea to keep trotting him out there. It's just further proof that teams don't care about players. They have learned nothing from Tua last year. They only care about trying to win a meaningless game.

Carr must be messed up in the head to even want to play as bad as he's been. Bro sit your butt down, get healthy and try to figure out why you can't see wide open receivers.

Completely unrelated but I figured that this would be a good place to tell a story.

In little league there was a kid on the team who was an all star when we were winning. He'd run from right field and catch pop ups in left field. He was a good athlete. When we were winning.

Every time that we were losing, he would have a horrible injury and would to be removed from the game and his mom would drive away with him.

He was always good for the next game but rarely practiced because he was too injured.

Just had to get that off of my chest

Thanks
Knew a guy who pointed fingers at professional football players. We call him bush!

Almost exactly what I've been going through. I keep trying to "tough it out", but it's not that kind of injury.
