Derek Carr practiced today. (2 Viewers)

Is absurdity contagious? The guy was having the best game in a Saints uniform. The best "business decision" he could make is a come back win over the best team on the schedule this season. Not faking injury to leave his best game of the season.
Is it absurd for a QB to throw a ball out of bounds instead of following the progression because the clearout WR didn’t run fast enough? Pull your head out of the dirt. Read the tea leaves.

My head is far from in the dirt. We can talk about Carr's play over the course of this season all day long, and we have. But what does any of that have to do with the implication that he faked an injury to get out of playing and you calling it a "business decision"? An injury that a neurologist took him out of the game for.

Stop that! He’s too hurt to come back in the game but fine days later. DA made Winston not play after he was “hurt” yet Carr leaves game after game but is fine. Something isn’t right and the fan base sees it.
Dude, Winston had four back fractures. Not some sore ribs.

The theory that Carr faked an injury, including somehow conspiring with the neurologist, makes zero sense.

When I used to get shook out of my socks by a wicked crossover I would fall to the ground and grab my ankle. Sooooooooo. I mean, I guess he is tough??? How many points do we get for that?
Yeah, except he was on a 15/16 for 220 yards streak and was in scoring position to pull us within 3 when he got pile-driven into the ground. And it was the neurologist that made him go to the locker room to be tested. He's still in protocol as I type this, and that's not his decision. That's the neurologist's decision.

The idea that he wanted to suddenly fake an injury and come out makes zero sense. The people in this thread know it makes zero sense. They are just pretending it doesn't because they hate him. It's stupid.

Just say you don't want him to play for legitimate reasons. There are plenty of those.

I was being facetious. I knew how hot he was at the time. Settle down, sir.

This is sad and pathetic from some of the people on here. I always considered Saints fans as one of the most welcoming fans in the entire NFL. I beginning to feel embarrassed and won't be surprised that we aren't attracting players to come here.
this thread is why we can’t have nice things

I know Carr has rubbed many the wrong way (his own doing) but some of you are just heartless. You want to hate on him so badly that you accuse him of faking the injury when he was lighting it up?
“ lighting it up “ woah now.

Drew would routinely complete 16 17 consecutive passes in every game , and by his own account would say he had a bad game.

Carr got into a rhythm , that’s it.

13 games to get into a rhythm 😒

What if i told you in his last 5 games carr has a 70 percent completion percentage ? For reference Brees career completion percentage is 67 percent..look we know carr hasn’t been great but, wow, the board has gotten way too extreme as far as the hate for him goes. He really hasn’t been as bad as everyone is implying.

The 🤡 takes in this thread about Carr faking an injury miss the point.

Why is Carr taking 1st team snaps after his second concussion in 3 weeks? There is a player safety concern. There is history of QBs (Carr and Winston) losing games following an injury.

Just give the healthy QB of your choice first team reps all week in case Carr can’t go. Bad coaching by DA to repeat past mistakes.

Too much at stake for DA. If he wins with JW or TH, the heat for the Carr signing will rise.

I don’t believe Carr faked his injury and instead think he’s going to play even if he should not.

However, I will also say that if he gets all the first team reps he needs to start, because contrary to what the Madden all-stars think, it’s a lot harder to win playing the back up if he doesn’t get reps doing the install with the 1’s during the week before the game.
