Saints desperately need a backup, we should draft a young player and see what he has. I would rather someone other than Nuss but we have to get better at the backup qb position.

Not that I think we should draft him, honestly not a fan (Nagy who runs the senior bowl did say he’d be the most talented QB in this years class though) but I do think we’ll have a top 5 pick next year or damn close to it.

....which is entirely possible if we're too strapped to do anything in 2025. I don't think we're wishing for that, exactly.....but it's plausible.

There is also a certain section of the fanbase that feels the Saints are obligated to draft Ole Miss players, Alabama players, and really any SEC player. People know the players they see and if they are good they want the Saints to draft them. And while sometimes it goes too far, it would be hard to argue with those who wanted the Saints to draft Burrow or Daniels. Or Jefferson, Nabors, Thomas, Jr., etc.

Saints have been relegated to the college ranks as terrible as they are. Folks are saying Nuss will enter the portal and transfer to our team.

Well, those LSU boys turn out to be pretty good more often than not. Plus, guys tend to perform better when their families are in the stands, in their hometown. Why the heck not?!?!
