If this their version of "Going all-in to compete".... It's kind of sad.
Plus MVS has a history of drops and had some in the last few games
I think it will involve quite a bit of using power running, play action deep shots, and players lining up all over the offensive alignment to keep the defense on a triceratops's horns of a dilemma. It will definitely be interesting to see what kind of offense he implements. I'm not sure that he has ever really implemented an entire offense that is his own. In Dallas he took over under Garrett who was an OC/QB, he only had one year with the Chargers, and a lot of what Philly did was still Sirianni and their power run game.
It's possible that one year with the Chargers was the closest we have seen to what he wants to do and that was more of a passing attack. But, that could have been based on the personnel he had.
Based on the interviews that he gave Super Bowl week, it sounds like he likes to throw the ball (as a former QB), but he will want an effective run game to keep teams honest. And, it sounds like his offense will use West Coast terminology, and maybe have a West Coast base with lots of motion added, but draw from lots of different offenses to suit personnel and stay unpredictable. It honestly sounds kind of like the things Sean Payton did/does, but it will be interesting to see.
The team doesn't have the chips to "go all in" because of cap mgt. Can't afford a star, get 3 mid tier guy. Hope a rotation works or one breaks out. See Granderson/Young/Jordan or Harris/Abrams/Howden or Olave/Shaheed/Cooks. Reid fixes the safety rotation.
Clown him all you want, he did many more great things than bad. If you think that’s the worst trade in Saints history then lol to that too.Yeah, the man that traded a #1,2 and 3 for Steve Walsh , maybe the worst trade in Saints history
I don't think so Wilson was quite productive under CKM in Dallas. He knows the system CKM will likely run and he's cheap and just took a bit of a pay cutI was going to say that. Don’t be surprised if we see KM substituting these WRs to keep them injury free. Not all of them will be on the field at the same time for the majority of the plays. I’m also sure that he will get us another WR or two. Good bye Cedrick Wilson
A 32 year old WR that only played 10 games due to an infection in his knee from a meniscus procedure avging career lows doesn't aspire confidence. Cooks was already losing his burst before then too.
SMH also the same guy that drafted Shawn Knight @ #11. Go look at his drafts, he has 1 good one and a bunch of bad ones. The best thing Finks did was hire Mora. Ok, so what do you think is the worst trade in Saints history?Clown him all you want, he did many more great things than bad. Anyhow, we’re all human. And none of us are perfect except for you..
The one thing I have noticed, no one has mentioned any guarantees. From my understanding, if he doesn’t make the team we owe him nothing.
I’d say the Ricky trade was the worst. Disagree on the Loomis assertion too, and that’s ok.SMH also the same guy that drafted Shawn Knight @ #11. I would love to see the we're all human excuse used for Loomis, who had 10 times more success than Finks ever had
