The owners of the board can run it however they like and everyone else can try their best to abide or leave.

But when politics infuses things like the global climate and basic vaccines, it's not a simple rule to follow. I get the goal of trying to eliminate the caustic rhetoric and personal attacks that come with politics. But there's functionally no difference in saying "x politician is terrible" and "the Saints are terrible," because both are attacks to a tribalist's fundamental sense of self and identity. Triggers the same part of the brain.

Anybody with common sense can see that I am critical of this with my sarcastic Stephen King reference and the fact that I outright called it a bunch of bullshirt (so far....I understand that there is more coming although not holding my breath)

But I respect the fact that the person who owns and runs this board doesn't want politics on it so I am not going to get into that aspect of it. I am not going to go into someone's house and disrespect their wishes. If I disagree with them so much that I am incapable of following them, then it's me who needs to leave

If a mod thinks it's against the rule, I'm sure that they will say so and tell people to stop. That has not yet happened so I don't think it's clear that anything said here is against the rules.

I mean, there are grey areas. Is it political if you say that the information is irrelevant and it's just being released to avoid the public noticing other issues really political? I don't think it is, but you may disagree.

And, with all due respect, I think the owner of this site wants to avoid partisan political bickering specifically, and I don't think any comments in here count as that. Although there is now some bickering going on.

The owner of this site also doesn't want members insulting each other and yet you are saying anyone that doesn't understand your position lacks common sense. I'm not sure how that doesn't violate the rules and show a lack of respect for the owner of this site.
