LSU Game Thread 11/25/23 Texas A&M vs LSU (1 Viewer)

Was a good 2nd half. Came home for Thanksgiving with my family. Smoked cigars on the porch, ate some boiled shrimps from Kenny’s in Slidell and watched the game.

I ended up listening to the game on the radio after halftime because I had errands to run. Just came in to say that our defense was absolutely abysmal and the radio announcers didn't try to hide that fact. On that TD that the Aggies scored in the 4th with multiple missed tackles, I was livid. At the college level, especially with the level of talent that LSU has access to, if your players are missing tackles, it's on the coaches.

Meanwhile back at the ranch...

WTH was Auburn doing rushing ONLY TWO players and giving Bama QB ALL DAY to throw the winning TD!

smh

Was the fix in???

If I was an Auburn fan in the stands, I'd "disrobe" myself all team clothing and throw it in the nearest trash can.

They rushed three. The idea behind it is dropping back 8 players ought to prevent a wr from being open. Obviously, they failed. The strategy was not unsound, though.

Naw. Auburn lost that all by their lonesome. Had them stopped. Player No. 0 (apt number) called for the fair catch. I'm sitting here going, "Okay, just don't fark this up, Auburn." Dude slips and muffs the punt. Bama ball.

Wasn't over. They still had chances .... both to win and to fark it up again after a 4th down illegal forward pass by Bama and Nicky Satan acting like the fix was in for Auburn.

Auburn had no business losing that game.

Nope - the 3rd player was SPYING the QB. How DUMB was that!!!

The QB was NEVER going to run it!

(And the other two "rushing the QB" were never really trying to reach the QB!)

And...

The WR who caught the ball was in the slot and he did a "crossing route" (can't think of the proper name) with the WR to his left at about the 5 yard line.

THREE Auburn defenders followed the WR cutting inwards, leaving ONE DB within TEN YARDS of the WR who caught the ball.

Mind you there were already THREE defenders in the middle of the endzone, thus no need for the defenders to follow the WR cutting inward!

(And we thought the LSU DBs had a lot to be desired!)

Auburn coaches should have been fired on the spot for that IDIOTIC scheme.
