They prefer mobile QBs. None of them are guys who will make a lot of plays with their feet like Can Newton or Vince Young. They're all pass-first guys who need developing. Like the other 115 NCAA teams, LSU has yet to luck into the next Johnny Manziel or Jamieos Winston.

The next Johnny Manziel or Jamieos Winston, minus the drug problems and sexual assault, is Jeremy Johnson. You missed on him too.

For some reason I thought LSU was moving to a run first style qb. Could have just been fan speak.

I like Johnson, he's going to be a good one.

Cameron will have to do some different things with the offense, neither one of them can run the Mettenberger offense. Wouldn't surprise me to see more designed QB runs like LSU showed in the A&M game last season.

Mettenburger worked out great because he was a pro style QB, obviously. So Harris is the only dual threat QB to come in since Cameron was hired? Guess I was mistaken.

Yeah, Cameron has only recruited Harris and McMillan.

McMillan is listed as a dual threat but he appears to be far more advanced as a passer rather than a guy who is going to run a whole lot. He's not a big guy, I highly doubt he's going to be running through SEC defenses. He's a lefty and throws a nice ball.

Why isn't LSU recruiting pro style QBs? I could very easily be wrong, but I don't think of Cam Cameron when I think of dual threat quarterbacks. If you don't run your dual threat QB then you just have a mediocre QB throwing passes.

They have Franks coming in next year. He is listed as a dual threat, but if you watch the film on him he's a thrower.
