One of the 90-man roster players coming into training camp 2019 generating a lot of excitement is former Nebraska running back Devine Ozigbo.

The Saints haven’t had a Nebraska running back in camp since the 90s with “Downtown” Derek Brown. That’s changed now with the arrival of undrafted rookie free agent Devine Ozigbo, a Mark Ingram clone looking to make a strong case that he should be on the 53-man roster for the 2019 Season.

The running backs group is the third installment in our rundown of all of the players to make up the 90-man roster which the Saints will take into training camp. We’ve started with the wide receivers, then the tight ends and now the running backs. It’s a relatively small group consisting of Alvin Kamara, Latavius Murray, Dwayne Washington, Devine Ozigbo, A.J. Ouellette and fullbacks Zach Line and Michael Burton.

The 53-man roster will only consist of four players though, three running backs and a fullback. We started our breakdown of the group with Alvin Kamara followed by the likely number two, Latavius Murray, last year’s number three, Dwayne Washington and now we profile one of this year’s newcomers, Devine Ozigbo.
