"health and safety of our players"

reads " we shell out entirely too much in contracts to have our highest paid player injured in some meaningless tournament when we are chasing higher dollar tourneys"

MLS owners arent looking to wait the requisite 30-40 years to be rolling in the money- they want it now.
Yeah right, NFL rolls out that lie of player safety every time it’s convenient to them too

This was totally a “protect the brand” move to ensure their professionals didn’t get embarrassed by some lower tier squad. I wouldn’t doubt their deal with Apple plays into it too.

Caught Offside podcast (@COSoccerPod) had an excellent segment on this yesterday.

I caught Atlanta ET rocket goal other night.
When Miami didn’t net those beautiful chances at the end, it felt like Atl was going to steal one
And the battle between NY and Columbus. (Game 1)
Red bulls ended the defending champs in PKs
At least on the radio that sounded pretty exciting

I missed it. RB V CREW

As for Miami...totally. That Messi miss from 6 yards out was the one that made me go "oh dang". Amazing how many times in this game that happens on one end and a conversion on other leads to a loss. Especially late misses.

Seattle v Houston. Wow.

Houston went down 0-1 in 88th. Already down to 10 men. Just equalized

Seattle Roldan scored both goals lol
