2024 NCAA Baseball Tourney (1 Viewer)

Yep… Honeycutt did it again. A 425 ft two run bomb over the left field fence to earn a walk off victory over the Mountaineers. :covri:

My mountaineers had their chances in this one. Never quite stepped on their neck. Best of 3 so fingers crossed for game 2. We can hang with them. Now Tennessee and FSU on the other hand would outclass us

We played UNC tough to the bitter end. Not bad for all the injuries we had this season. Took em to the wire both games. Future looks good for the program

Haven't seen a player ejected in a long time guess they reviewing to see if it's warranted at clemson

There’s no warning track in the outfield of the baseball park in Clemson. I really thought having that area along the back fence was mandatory.

Safe to say the replay official needs to be fired and docked pay..... and we need a new umpiring system.... seems anyone can become an umpire

I was hoping that Evansville would be able to give Tennessee a good game. But practically every Volunteer that steps up to the plate is hitting the pitches over the wall. The floodgates have opened early and often.

Just heard that Evansville is completely out of pitchers. They are using the same guys who pitched yesterday.

Quality depth is extremely underrated. 😢

So, this year's men's CWS will be an all ACC & SEC affair. Four teams from each conference.
Had Georgia managed to pull out a win last night, it would have featured mostly teams from the SEC.
Barring weather issues, the games begin on Friday, June 14th.

Watching the Tennessee vs Florida State game in Omaha is reminding me why LSU was not a good candidate for being in the 8 team series. These two teams know how to get timely hits and how to advance runners into scoring position. The Tigers never had great hitting at the plate all year. No team is going to win in Omaha without having some players who can hit consistently. LSU had their moments, but were never a threat to be great this year.

The Volunteers have been taken to the woodshed by the Seminoles. Tennessee is on their 4th pitcher and they still can’t stop Florida St from getting hits almost at will.

It sure looks like the Vols are headed for the losers bracket.

Unbelievable! Tennessee has come all the way back in the bottom of the 9th inning to tie the game, 11-11!
The Vols now have two outs and two on base with a runner in scoring position!

I guess I pulled a George Costanza on Florida State. It really does work. Whatever I write here, the opposite absolutely will happen.
