And the Saints will keep Dennis Allen for another year!

I hate that the leak-o-rama has turned into yet another bash DA thread. We read the worst into every game on the schedule as they drop.
It is absolutely absurd.

It’s like - “Sure we no longer have a first ballot HOF QB and an enigmatic coach - oh and a roster of aging veterans in the weakest division in football! - but Dennis Allen is the reason we don’t play the Cowboys at 3pm!”

There are only so many slots to fill prime time games and national games. Sometimes you don’t get to be the prom queen.

I like us going at least 2-2 to open the first 4 games. We’ll grab a close W from one of the home Eagles game or road Falcons game. Then 4-3 after a W vs the Broncos.

I don’t think Harbaugh will be enough to immediately compensate for the Chargers shaky depth on offense in week 7. The 5 game stretch after KC, vsTB, vsDen, @LAC, @Car, & vs Atl can put the Saints at 6-4 if Kubiak is making a difference as OC like he should be. They could be in a driver’s seat to finish at least 10-7.

11-6 overall
5-1 division
9-3 conference
7-2 home, 4-4 road
should be good enough for the division, could be good enough for the 3 seed

I have the season finale not mattering and obviously this is assuming general good health. If the injury bug becomes the injury dinosaur obviously it won’t happen this way. That stretch of four home games in five weeks is going to be crucial, just as important as getting out to a fast start will be. No I am not scared of Kirk frickin’ Cousins
