2024 Schedule Release Leak-O-Rama (1 Viewer)

What exactly is there to disagree with?

Dallas almost always has the late afternoon or primetime slot and I couldn’t tell you the last time they specifically played New Orleans in a regular ol’ noon game.

We’ve lost our shine. We are currently not a big draw.

Did you see their prime time games this season?. Those games are top notch late season. The Cowboys can’t always play at 3pm…..lol

And at 12:15p CT, I think we're done. I'll fill in the start times once the official announcement is made this evening.

he wins games and it'll go away
To be fair, that's not true.

He had a winning record last year and tied for first place, losing out of a division win on tie breakers. To read about it here, DA is the worst head coach in the history of coaching, and has personally tainted every positive aspect of the franchise.

If I am doing everything right, by process of elimination, game at Atlanta is 9/29.

Which leaves only two dates unknown: Week 8 and 9. Away at Carolina and away at Chargers.
No preseason games are listed.

Week 1: @ Arizona wkd of 8/9-8/12
Week 2: @ San Francisco 8/18
Week 3: vs Tennessee

So the Saints are going to play:

Mon 10/7 @ Chiefs
Sun 10/13 Bucs
Thurs 10/17 Broncos

That's a lot of football in ten days!
Add to that, we host the Bucs on a short week coming from KC on Monday and the Bucs will be coming in on 10 days rest from a Thursday night game.

It is extremely rare for our two teams to not play in a late afternoon or prime time slot.

Why is it so offensive or hard to believe that our team isn't the same type of draw it was when we were winning and had a HOF QB and borderline HOF HC? Why is this even being argued? lol

that's the PR way of saying "we didn't make the playoffs again with a very winnable schedule and a laughable division (two years in a row!!!) with a team who looked mediocre all season"

like it's really not rocket science to realize no one really cares about our team outside of New Orleans lol. And non-Saints fans shouldn't! We haven't made the playoffs three straight years and our only superstars are Kamara and an aging Cam Jordan lol. When we become an appealing team again, which as a fan I always hope for, fans will realize just how unappealing our team was during this current era lol.

Really is. Last time we played the Cowboys in a noon game was 2012. Payton was suspended, we were 6-8 and the Cowboys were 8-6.

Other than that year, every Saints game against the Cowboys going back through the Payton era was a primetime game.

2021: Thursday night
2019: Sunday night
2018: Thursday night
2015: Sunday night
2014: Sunday night
2013: Sunday night
2012: noon
2010: Thursday night/Thanksgiving
2009: Thursday night
2006: Sunday night

Have to go back to 2004 until we played them at noon again. Pretty wild to see.

He's only the 18th worst head coach in NFL history based on win percentage. So there are a whole 17 coaches worse than him.

In two years Allen has two wins vs. a team that started the game with a winning record. Two years ago vs. the Eagles when they went 0-3 with their backup QB, and last year when they beat an 8-7 Bucs team.

Allen needs to show he can get wins vs. quality teams. Beating up bad teams in a weak schedule year isn't going to inspire confidence when he still got mopped up by teams that were relevant.
