Based on why Vrabel ended up leaving the Titans, I don't think we will end up with him as our HC.

It apparently came down to control over the roster!

Part of why Sean Payton is in Denver is because he accepted nothing less than full control of who would eventually work under him. Guys like him and Vrabel are not going to allow their coaching reputation depend on whoever else might make those decisions.

I would vote for Brian Flores as the #1 option if we are looking for a defensive minded coach. If we are looking for an offensive minded coach, I would look at Gruden, Joe Brady, or Kliff Kingsbury. The Saints job is not an attractive job, so I feel these options are realistic. I would not overlook a high-profile college coach looking to get in the NFL as well. I like Glenn but don't know if he is head coach material and I really think Vrabel would not take this job. He is being rumored for a few other high profile jobs.

I asked them to stop back-loading contracts of older players.

To let them know that I support them hiring Vrabel as our next head coach.

Vrabel is the guy we need to go all in on. He's a culture builder. We will go from a soft team that gets bullied into the Bully. The team identity will be physicality on offense and defense with a punishing rushing attack with physical WRs and a 3-4 defense to capitalize on the current young talent while a 3-4 is also an easier defense to find talent for.

We don't know what Joe Brady would do as a HC nor Ben Johnson, but we know what Vrabel will bring. It's cool to not like ML right now, but Vrabel would have a steady FO and if ML hands the personnel decisions over to Vrabel, he has a good eye for talent so that would work.

Vrabel coached Taylor Lewan and he got the most out of him. He'd have a good insight on how to deal with Penning and get the most out of him as well.

He played Defense and saw some time at Offense, so he knows both sides of the ball.

If we hired him, look at potential Titans players or other players who played under Vrabel to help install his team culture.

I agree with this choice also. im all in on long term culture builders that players love playing for.
