Ahsoka Live Action Series (Disney+) (3 Viewers)

It’s a matter of scale
If Harry Potter went from FINALLY being able to levitate a feather to apparating 5 minutes later, it would be an incredible stretch
If Ron did it, even harder to explain
But Sabine is a squib
I get that, what I'm saying is she didn't necessarily do it on her own. She had help. Which is why I'm saying Ezra was the x-factor.

We just see it differently. It's all good tho. :9:

If they are establishing a transitive property of Jedi powers after 10000 years, they’re going to need to show their work

Since when has Star Wars done that? This franchise has never tried to explain itself since ANH. I still don't know how an Imperial Destroyer can levitate in an atmosphere, but I don't question it, I just accept it.

I’m not talking about physical (physics) reality- I’m talking about within a fiction, the biggest tent pole of your fiction has certain boundaries, that all content creators have stayed inside for the 45 years of telling (and 10,000 years of existence)
Ezra imbuing (the only way ‘unlocking’ makes sense) Sabine with powers is not part of the fabric
No way Anakin doesn’t imbue Padme with Force constantly as much as she just stayed in danger

Not imbuing. That's not the same as unlocking what's already there. It's been explained numerous times in SW lore that the Force is already present in everyone. The question is how does one wield the Force. There is certainly training involved. And for some, natural talent, and for others, recognizing it's there (mindset) and an understanding of directing it's power.

I'm saying Sabine already has the Force in her and the difference is Ezra gave her a new mindset when she reunited with him. I.e. he gave her confidence, which she could then be in the right mindset to wield the Force in a powerful way.

There wasn't any transfer of power. That's not what I said in previous posts.

I'm kind of "meh" overall on this show. I like Rosario Dawson, but I didn't care for her take on Ahsoka -- I thought Ariana Greenblatt's flashback Ahsoka did a better job at personifying "Snips."

Natasha Liu Bordizzo's Sabine was fine, although I still don't get why Ahsoka would even think to train her, force sensitive or not. And I don't remember those two characters even interacting all that much in Rebels. If Ahsoka showed up, she usually only talked with Ezra, Kanan, and sometimes Hera (although the only time I remember that happening, it was as a hologram, and before Fulcrum was revealed to be Ahsoka).

Eman Esfandi as Ezra nailed it, I thought, even though he had very little screen time. He did a great job capturing the character's at-times flippant attitude and his chemistry with Sabine and Ahsoka worked well.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead's Hera didn't get enough to do for me to even form an opinion on her performance. Loved her pants, though. :9:

Would it have killed them to find a way to have Rex in the show? Does he even know Ahsoka is alive?

And I want to see Chopper commit some mass murder of Stormtroopers, dammit!
