Andy Dalton is PFF’s 2nd highest graded passer this season (1 Viewer)

Because the ball was placed exactly where it needed to be placed.
The ball needed to be placed ahead of Olave.

But if anything, the ball needed to be placed towards the middle of the field, away from the safety, on Taysom's path. Not high and behind him.

If you take away the penalties, fumbles and dropped passes, guaranteed our record would be decent too. But……

Yea cause he’s a solid QB. He’s solid. He’s not high risk big play QB that could measure out in a low ratio or vice versa. But he’s consistent. His effort and ability is 100% not the reason the saints are in the situation they are in. As many folks on here say, numbers don’t lie.

That 86.2 is a liar.

I'll ask again:
Burrow
Passing 68.2% 277 yds/gm 31 TDs 10 INTs 189 1stD 3 4QC 4 GWD 0 pick6
Rushing 287 yds 5 TDs 25 1stD

Dalton
Passing 66.8% 218 yds/gm 17 TDs 7 INTs 114 1stD 1 4QC 1 GWD 2 pick6
Rushing 99 yds 4 TDs 5 1stD

How does PFF rate/grade Dalton ahead of Burrow? Show me the math. No one has shown me the math. What has more way statistically/grade wise than the numbers above?

I'll ask again:
Burrow 68.2% 3,885 yds (277/gm) 31 TDs 10 INTs .32% TD-INT ratio 189 1stD 3 4QC 4 GWD

Dalton 66.8% 2,403 yds ( 218/gm) 17 TDs 7 INTs .41% TD-INT ratio 114 1stD 1 4QC 1 GWD

How do you rate/grade Dalton ahead of Burrow? Show me the math. No one has shown me the math.
Because people actually watch the film and break it down to assign grades. It’s not strictly numbers-based.

It takes into account many other factors.

We get it. You don’t like it. It’s cool.

The point is that multiple metrics, objective and subjective, paint a picture of Dalton being better than many on this board give him credit for.

Burrow is the better QB, He makes bigger time throws that don’t always go good that probably reduces his grade. As I say Dalton is a solid QB, he’s now game changing guy like Burrow or Mahomes or Allen, he’s got that rating because his overall play is a safer style in my estimation.

Dalton hasnt played bad. Lots of drops at tips getting intercepted. We have no running game or wr to help him. He is doing more than what he was brought here to do.

Dalton is basically a god in cleats, all of his miscues are the fault of his teammates. He's bounced around the Leauge because NFL is racist against sexy red heads. Dalton is the goat and top 2 QB this year. I mean look at his nunbers.. and his almighty PFF score. Hopefully we can trade him for 2 firsts next year.

I’ll add some clutch throws, including a crucial conversion to Johnson at the goal line, dart to Kamara against the wind and two more 3rd down dimes late in the fourth.

Oh, and the Win. I’ll definitely take that.
I think there is a fair argument that we did better with Hill at QB today.
