Just an introduction...

was looking for the best place to post this and i think this is it. Im not much of a poster but been an avid reader for the past 2 seasons. I used to post under this name at Blackandgold.net since 2002 but have made this my home this year after many attempts to convert me from my friends. I finally was won over after going to the Rock N Bowl hammer n nails benefit.

My name is Jason and i work at a prominent music club called the Maple Leaf here in New Orleans so if you looking for a pub to crawl to, i suggest you finish here =) I sit up front with my boy Whistle Monster right behind the visitor bench and give em an earful all game long. I do a tailgate party every home game with my boys from Juice if any of you ever want to come crash were right off Calliope under the overpass just across the train tracks from the dome and arena. Look for the Maple Leaf flag

Ive golfed in the last 3 Haslett golf tournaments, but had not heard of any Payton golf outings the past couple years and would really love to participate with you all this time around. Please PM me if theres anything i can do for any of you coming in town and whatnot as I always get a line on extra tickets and such in the 3 or so days right before a game.

I've never played a round of golf in my life. I'll give the game a try this summer but I'll probably be a hazard. Especially if you consider that golf season ends in October at the latest around here. If the wife isn't crippled up from shoulder surgery she'll be throwing clubs all over the place.

This is great - we are coming in for this game. We have missed the last SaintsReport Game, but did go to the Rock-n-Roll one.

I have game tickets, plane tickets, hotel reservations, a rental car reserved, and golf clubs for whackin' things.

Now that I am this deep I am looking at going salary at work. Hopefully they let me keep my vacation and they let me take the Saturday before the game off so that I can leave Friday night and make the golf outing.

Do the golf outing and the rock & bowl thing conflict?

Is the rock & bowl thing done in lieu of the pub crawl? I don't drink alcohol but the wife does.

The Rock n Bowl party is the weekend of the home opener, not the sr.com game vs. the Bucs. however maybe we can persuade BCG to get the RV and tailgate for the sr.com game!! BDM

there is a 3 star listed in the French Quater for $55,[ June 14] seems like a deal. It says retail $105 which isn't much for a Quater hotel. Anyone have an educated guess what hotel it may be?

December 2nd?!? Finally!! This is the game (Saints/Bucs) that we always go to!! I've been on this board quite a while so it will be great to meet all who attend.

Regarding the potential golf outing, what is the format? Scramble? Best ball? And are teams randomly selected so members get to meet each other or do we get a team together? Here's why: normally there are four of us that head down - two die hard Saints fans (sanitmdterps & myself), one who is a beer fan who roots for the Saints with us and yes, a Bucs fan. That's us in my avatar. Is he permitted to join? And yes, he's a decent Bucs fan, not totally obnoxious.
