I’m starting to lean to Sheduer for a few reasons. He can make the throws and he’s mobile. Hes considered a pocket qb that’s also mobile. Not the other way around. I’d also be ok with Cam Ward for those reasons. But our cap is handcuffing us, and we’ve lost our elite luster. So Sheduer would bring Deons attention. (Deon will still be coaching college, so he won’t be interfering). But Deon’s attention could give us a little juice, attracting free agents. And because Deon is “old school” I’d be ok to have him on the in/outside as a critic/influencer. We need a franchise QB1. If we don’t go QB this year, then we’ll HAVE to be terrible next season too. This may be our only real shot to draft one early.

He would need to go to a team with a great QB coach and coordinator. He needs a lot of development. We are not the fit. All we need is Carr here for 2 more years showing him how to be bad.

I love the Canes but they’ve been lucky for a few games now….their luck ran out today.

Hoping a team lower in the draft order really like him though for a possible pick trade

I like Sanders upside better too, but I’m not sure either would make a great top 5 overall pick. It’ll be interesting to see what direction we go if we do get that high of a pick.

The whole QB class is underwhelming.
I think the best QB this year would be ranked between Penix and Nix in last years draft.
