NFL Draft Anyone else watching Cam Ward? (1 Viewer)

Sheduer Sanders over Cam ward all day every day. "With the first pick in the 2025 NFL drafting New Orleans Saints select Sheduer Sanders QB Colorado"

He plays in one hour, can you haters please watch the game before you start ignorant neg reps.

Gross. Sanders is not close to being worth the 1st pick. He's a game manager QB.

I like Sanders upside better too, but I’m not sure either would make a great top 5 overall pick. It’ll be interesting to see what direction we go if we do get that high of a pick.

I don't see much upside in Sanders. He' a QB that plays well in structure but isn't a guy that is good off schedule or getting yards with his feet. And I'm sure he has had the best coaching possible so I'm not sure he's going to get a lot better in the pros. I also wonder if a kid that grew up with that much money is going to understand the hard work it takes to be an NFL QB. That's also true of Arch Manning, so it's going to depend on a lot of things we don't know since none of us, including me, know him and what kind of person he is.

He's seems like almost the polar opposite of Ward. But, as with all QB prospects it's going to depend on character and how hard they are willing to work.

this little backup freshman that came in for Ole Miss. 6 ft 4 and a baseball pitcher. dude throwing strikes and marched Ole miss down to tie. His arm and poise for 19 years old is impressive. I found him more impressive in about 10 plays than any QB in the SEC. Kid might have him a bright future.

He is an absolute stud. Gonna cost a lot to keep him. He is just a freshman.

Sanders has benefitted from great receivers and daddy ball who calls his number every time. I really am not a fan of Shadeur, but gun to my head I’d go with him over Ward. Begrudgingly.

Good. Not great. Pocket presence , seeing the field, and a lack of athleticism concerns me. I see another guy who will get drafted too high because of his position.

Deon Sanders is as old school as they come. There’s no way he coddles Shedeur to a degree where his growth is limited.

I don't know anything about Cam. But Sanders, no to him. He feasts on bad teams and is invisible against the good ones.

Right now he is getting sniffled by Texas Tech, whom are known as being an ATM machine on defense

That's fair. I guess I just think Sanders is near his peak and Ward has a lot of upside so if I had to choose, I would choose Ward. Of course, Ward also has a lot of bust potential because he needs to learn to throw from the pocket and many have failed to do that.

The smart move for the Saints is likely to just take BPA and see what they have in Rattler and Haener. Then you consider the QBs next year. Or, take one this years if you have to trade up to the lower first or high in the 2nd.
