AK has 2 years left on his deal. He is a year early to be asking for anything. He needs to play this year out and if he's back to the guy he was, then the team will have a tough choice to make between extending him, paying his last year or cutting him. If he plays poorly, then he'll most likely be cut prior to the league year in 2025, which is why the contract was designed the way it was in the first place.

He's a player that has smarts and ability that can be used beyond just the RB position. He can still be used effectively all over the field on Offense.

Yup, agreed. I get the 30 year old RB take, but what have some of these folks been watching? He is quite obviously not your typical RB.....he's a dynamic playmaker.....
