I'll tell you what, if his absolute floor is Mark Ingram, that's not necessarily a bad thing. Sure, we would hope for something more worthwhile at pick 9, but if we end up "failing" on the top tier level evaluation and merely getting a solid starter type like Mark, I could live with it.

And for the record, I just think the choice is Jeanty out of Jeanty and Warren. I'm not dying to select another RB. I just want the Saints to go BPA.

If Saints stay at #9, it's likely Jeanty with Warren getting consideration. If they move up, it'll be for Ward

I agree with this 100%

Ward is by far the best QB in the draft and I could live with it but I’d rather stay put and land 1 of Jeanty or Warren, assuming Tet and Graham are gone.

Good point at the end that the free agent running back class is so weak this year. That pushes up the value of the top rookie RBs a bit.
