Aside from DA is anyone really happy with Kubiak's play calling? (1 Viewer)

No, and it didn’t fall this far off the cliff just because of injuries.

But it’s hard to be positive about anything right now with our team.

We have a bunch of guys who stay hurt

We have a ton of players who obviously have no trust in our coaches, that’s obvious especially after the AK interview today

There’s no accountability anywhere in the organization

Defense can’t tackle, it’s embarrassing

Whole team lacks depth and real playmakers

Cap is horrible

3 years minimum before we can even think about being truly competitive

Sad times
Ridiculous to say that injuries did not derail the offense. We lost almost EVERY starter at one point or another and most of the time more than 2 or 3 at a time. SMH , what team are you watching ???

No, but I think he’s in a tough spot. Kubiak runs a completely different style of offense than we did before and we didn’t give him the players for that offense. So we’re stuck with some sort of hybrid and on top of that mass injuries. Not sure why to expect more from such an inexperienced OC with few resources.

I know. The play calling in games 1 and 2 was so creative. Now it is just stupid. I mean, I understand the injuries and all. But even with that the play calling could be so much better.
NO you don't understand the injuries and all . if you did you would see it's IMPOSSIBLE to call the same plays with 3rd and 4th string OL, WR, QB

Seriously what was he supposed to do?

Did you want to see him try to sling it downfield with Carr who can't get the ball 30 yards with his injury and try to throw to Bub Means or was he hurt too?

Kamarra had nearly 200 yards today and we did more than enough to win other than some stupid penalties.

Because half of our starters are injured…and half of their replacements are also injured. We are a shell of the team we were in week 2. Once McCoy went down, it’s spiraled downward from there.
Nothing we ran was slow developing in weeks 1 and 2. There's more to the story.

I'm giving KK a pass this season. The 1st two games were great. Then we all know what happened. He's not gonna have the same offense without the same players, the players the offense was built around. Now take away their backups and then some and this is what you get.
How dare you bring logic and reality into the conversation??? Don't you know KK is supposed to have a top 5 offense with 3rd and 4th string starters. SMH People on here are just DELUSIONAL

I'm really down on this offense. If just doesn't make sense to me and he doesn't seem to make any adjustments when necessary.
I know we have a lot of injuries but we can't seem to run an NFL offense. Any agree'ers?
Do I dare say this offense is worse than Carmichaels. Either way I see no creativity with it. I mean at least try to fool defenses.

Ridiculous to be your age and not be able to comprehend the most basic of basic usage of the English language on the forum. You skipped over almost every single word in my response I suppose and didn’t comprehend the little you did read. What forum are you reading?

See, I can be a clown too….

Now let’s try this again.

I NEVER said injuries didn’t derail the season, I never said injuries were not a major cause for where we are as a team. Nothing you responded with was found anywhere in my response.

I SAID in response to the OP’s question, I am not happy with his play calling AND IT’s NOT ALL BC OF THE INJURIES. That was in reference to how bad the offense has been. You’re delusional to think he hasn’t had issues adjusting from game to game and in game once the other team adjust. He has almost the same approach and attack angle each game. He’s not bad and a lot of the limitations has been bc of injuries, but it isn’t all on injuries. This isn’t the first time he’s had these issues.

It’s not some big mystery…. The same thing happens to the 49er offense when they have no offensive weapons available on game day. (But they do manage to win a few of them because Shanahan isn’t Just a play caller). Our system and play caller are totally limited by a lack of playmakers and a HC that wants to play safe but dumb situational football on offense as a philosophy.

I said at the beginning of the season that in this system, we could survive a mediocre OLine…. But not that lack of offensive weapons and depth there.

No one is buying your play action when they don’t fear your receiving corps. No one is chasing your motions when your TE is no threat. No one is falling for an end around when you cant set an edge with a WR.

Now…. At the time…. I had no idea we’d be dealing with so many losses in both areas. But I still think that if we had more weapons on offense, and less influence from the HC…. The offense would be much better.

Bub indeed was injured, he didn't suit up today. And Olave got hurt early in the game, and Shaheed is also hurt.

And McCoy is still out. Having Hill, Kamara and Carr on the field helped some. But it's not enough.
