Aside from DA is anyone really happy with Kubiak's play calling? (1 Viewer)

The offense without Hill does not work well. McCoy, Shaheed, and Olave's injuries have all made significant differences.

It will be a real shame, nee, a real football injustice, if/when Kubiak leaves as a one-and-done.

When Carr came to NOLA, the thinking was that he was abused in Vegas, and he would shine in a new system. But except for a handful of outlier games, he has not exceeded his long-established talent ceiling displayed with the Raiders. Injuries are a factor (including his own 3 injuries this year), and having a new OC and install each year (including next year most likely) is a factor.

But even giving him the benefit of the doubt, the 10+ year vet is solidified in career datapoints and trends. This year is similar. Carr individually in 2024 is a top 7 QB statwise. But the Saints only score 2.5 TD's a game. They are dead mid or less in the offensive rankings.

He's got one career playoff appearance, a loss. He gets the benefit of almost being credited with a 2nd. In one of his best Raider seasons, he got injured late and missed the playoff loss.

He is what he is, but not what he was expected to be: an upgrade on Winston, Hill, and Dalton. All we can hope for is that 2025 brings some normalization to the team.

He should've known the risk when signing up to board the Titanic after it struck the iceberg.

Sucks for him - but I just don't think he'll get a yr 2

I'm thinking players from week 1. You want to run a run first offense with small bodied speedsters at WR. It was faux hope week 1...Carolina is and will be trash for the foreseeable future....week 2 Dallas' defense is light in the trenches and has been run through by everyone since. I just don't think what we put out there was going to work for a whole season. It showed its true colors week 3 and has been a grind to get points since.

We went out and got Carr then got an OC who's specialty is apparently taking it out of the QBs hands and focusing on the ground game...player - scheme mismatch
What does this have to do with my comments or KK?

Carr was here before he got here, the receivers were here before he got here and are you suggesting he gets no credit for good offensive play against teams he had better personnel? Doesn’t that suggest that if we had better personnel in the passing game or other areas that KK might have done a better job?

I’m not sure if you meant to reply to me. Your comments make no sense. Maybe try saying it a different way?
