More fumbles from Bell...
This concerns me too. It's not even full contact out there & he's put it on the floor a few times this week already & today he muffs the hand off. :1zhelp:

"With Darren Sharper on the sidelines, S Usama Young looked promising. He filled holes quickly against the run, immediately closed on a few screens – once coming in hot to put a loud pop on Thomas – and earned consistent praise from defensive backs coach Dennis Allen for his efforts. Young also made a quick play in coverage to stop Shockey well short of a first down, with the fiery tight end slamming the ball to the turf. " From NOS.com B&G article linked above.
Gotta like the sound of that. Good for UY, a year late, IMO, but rather late than never.
I was also intrigued by the fact that they said Devery Henderson had a really nice punt return!
Duncan said there was no live punting yesterday.
WR Devery Henderson turned in the best punt return, jittering after hauling in the ball before accelerating down the right sideline. Henderson is currently a few down the depth chart as the punt returner, but his speed on this particular return left the coverage behind…
one concern......we can't win the NFC South unless we can stop the run.

FWIW, I've been hoping the Saints would put Devery back as a returner for some time now... The guy's got great speed, and he's dangerous as a runner with the rock in his hand.
He is also dangerous on punt returns due to his rock hands. Devery is not sure handed enough to be on punt returns IMO.
After all the chatter about PT's dominance this offseason, I'm surprised there isn't more talk of his measly output.
