Not a fan of Nicholas Cage's acting, but liked The Wicker Man movie. It was a little freaky.

Never seen the original, the re-make is plenty; Don't need to see the original. Not really a fan of mental anguish. I'm already suffering from Kim Shattuck's death and global shut down. The $1200 pay day felt pretty good to be honest though. Also, munching on lentils and rice.

actually, i think i like both the same.

definitely agree. don't get me wrong, i love the movie, but wonka could have been portrayed much better.

While not necessarily bad, there are two (in the same universe nonetheless) I always found...off.




Glover at least had Lethal Weapon, but still a bit of a leap to being the sort of action hero you'd cast in Predator 2.

Far from a great movie and it definitely had its problems but I didn’t think Brody was one of them

It's called bad directing. What Tim Burton does 9 times out of 10, yet somehow he is praised constantly because of the 1 out of 10 he gets right. No one seems to bring up all the lousy ones he's directed.

I have no idea what you're smoking. While the original is a well done B movie with an interesting - and different for its time - premise, and a great performance from Christopher Lee, the remake is cheesy, overacted, and generally uninteresting.

I'm not a Cage hater, but I quickly admit he has as many strikeouts as hits in his career.
