These days I rarely buy games on release. Between my steam account and epic store backlog, by the time I get around to it, BG4 might be out hah

I’m not a gamer…I have only played video games over the past two years when my kids got a Switch. But I think I’ll get BG3 at full price like I happily paid full price for BOTW and TOTK. Simple reason is that the developers deserve my investment for their dedication and hard work. I haven’t bought Diablo 4 yet because I’m just not sold. Even if I don’t love BG3 I have a ton of appreciation for for they accomplish. Also…everyone says that DOS2 is amazing and that BG3 is pretty much a better/more updated version. I’m in

I get it, I do the same thing, but mostly with smaller, indie game developers. It is why I have such a huge backlog
Sometimes I wonder if I am just a game collector vs game player hah

Highly anticipated PC launch comes Aug. 3; PS5 follows in September

comes out tomorrow on PC...i understand the game has been in early access for some time already

comes out in September for PS5

and maybe next year for Xbox due to the Series S limitations

The old Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance played like Champions of Norath/Diablo on console while PC was just Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 plus their expansions, and other DD games, and those were all turn based style.

I assume there will be no difference in these versions since Consoles are just glorified PCs without any Backwards compatibility at this point. I'm assuming this one is going to play exactly like Divinity 2 Original Sin since its the same developers and that one was turn based. Was fun with friends for a while before it ran LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG.... and this one seems to be even longer. So play it, take breaks so it doesn't get tedious to finish.

FYI…Children of Morta is pretty amazing. Great multiplayer Hades like game
