Back to the subject.....

One thing Sanders understands that we don't necessarily think about is expectations vs. realizations. Reggie expectations was to be Barry Sanders right away and that simply was not going to happen. But, you can see that Reggie will eventually get to being himself again because he still has the speed, he still has the moves and most importantly, he still has the want-to!

Reggie will be great. How do I know this? Because he has the smarts, the motivation and the talent to be great. It's just a matter of time now!

Realistically, his expectations were unrealistic!

You know the other thing is that I dont think anyone could ever be as good as Sanders. Defenses are much faster then they were when he played. Makes it much harder. I dont know if Barry could do what he did back then in todays NFL. Just a thought, what do you think?

LT's doing it right now and I, personally, think Sanders was better. So, yeah I think Sanders would be just as effective as he was. Hopefully, Reggie will be too...

I think he's just being too hard on himself right now. Once he becomes patient he will be a great football player.

That is a excellent comment for Reggie. Marshall Faulk mentioned that Reggie needs to pull the ball in closer to his body when running or he will continue to fumble. I think he needs to listen to these great running backs as it will only make him better. GO REGGIE!

Barry was my favorite, he was a great runner and had great personal character qualities. I believe that Reggie can be alot like him in running style and already is a lot like him in personal character qualities.

With an improving offensive line in front of him and a little more experience I am expecting Reggie to remind me of Barry quite often.

Damn girlfriends!!!!! I guess it's one thing to sit there and watch it cause of her but to discuss it on a football forum is just plain wrong. See NFL.com had it on their front page yesterday and I thought it would have been ok. I'll take Nip/Tuck and take my penalties like a man well a whatever I am now since my card got revoked.
