I'm gonna read the thread because I have some thoughts. But...if they would have just ended with their arrival at Earth, I would have been pretty content. I'm kind of dreading what comes next though, lol.

I have finally started watching this and I've really gotten into it (middle of Season 2).

But then I watched The Vow on HBO about the NXIVM cult and seeing half the cast appear in that has taken me out of the show. I need to regroup and go back to BSG, but its bizarre.

Fresh from shepherding the “X-Men” franchise for over a decade, Simon Kinberg has signed on to write and produce Universal’s feature adaptation of the sci-fi franchise “Battlestar Galactica,” Variety has confirmed.

Kinberg is joining producer Dylan Clark (“The Batman,” “War for the Planet of the Apes”), who has long overseen development on a “BSG” movie for the studio. While Kinberg has also branched out into directing with 2019’s “X-Men” feature “Dark Phoenix” and 2021’s spy thriller “The 355,” he is not looking to direct this project........

Fans of Battlestar Galactica were in for some frakking cool news in 2019 when NBCUniversal announced that the beloved science-fiction series that served as a reimagining of the 1978 show of the same name was getting brought back to television, or at least the Peacock streaming platform. Why would anyone keep “Dark Phoenix “ on their resume?
I would love a BSG movie, but not from someone who couldn’t adequately retell the greatest comics run of all time

I finished up my first watch of BSG yesterday. The last episode up until the jump to Earth was great. After that...eh. I would have just ended the show with the fleet flying into the Sun.

I'd love a movie version. Wouldn't mind another series. I didn't know Katee (Starbuck) was before she played Dana Walsh in season 8 of 24. I miss that show.

Sam Esmail I’m mostly good with
The writer seems like he specializes in vastly inconsistent - his scripts seem either great or trash
This needs a STRONG director
