I like Yuengling. Had it a few times, it's good.

Ghost in the Machine sounds scary... lol

One of my favorites (it used to be seasonal but seems like I’ve seen it recently)

My Untappd ratings reminded me of Planet Juice, seasonal version of Jucifer. I miss that one

I also have Grimbergen Dubbel rated pretty high. I used to spend my days in that amber/red/brown range

If you can find it, try Temptress, I’m a huge Founders fan but Temptress has the edge.

The popularity of IPA's was an over correction in response to how bland most mass produced American beers were. The craft movement was essentially in an arms race to see how hoppy they could make a beer just to prove they weren't the typical American mass market product. They were also relatively easy to produce so they became the signature beer of American craft breweries.

I don't hate them, but they are not nuanced at all. They're a hammer to the taste buds.
Try a Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA. It's not an all-day beer at 6%, but at 60 IBU it's not that hammer that the extra-hoppy beers are. It's also not stupid expensive but we are only an hour from the brewery.

There are 7 breweries within 30 minutes of my house. The cool thing is they all carry some of each other's beers.

I would be forever content if limited to these 4:

(1) Pilsner Urquel - classic and crisp
(2) Stone IPA - piney bitter bite
(3) Stone Arrogant bastage - unparalleled combo of big malt and big hops
(4) Old Rasputin Stout - thick body, thick taste

The problem with IPAs (both the taste and the image) is the overproduction of New England style, which usually tastes like somebody spilled budwiser into ruby red grapefruit juice. The iconic West Coast IPAs are what IPAs should be. Showcase the hops (that’s what preserved ale from Britain to India) but don’t overdo it or make it weird.
