I really didn't want to make this "I'm worry about this game post" but a few things have me a little concerned. First off, the Saints have a history of playing down to a team with a bad record..especially one that they're not familiar with like Cincinnati. Second is the weather conditions. Even though the early forecast looks decent something could change. Third is Drew Brees and this Sportsman of the year thing. I'm very happy for him and want to give him congratulations but I'm a little worried about this being a distraction that could have him off in terms of his preparations....Lastly is the defense. I'm not saying they're playing bad by any means but the fact is the last 2 QBs they faced they've given up over 300 yards passing. I really don't think you can afford to give that to Carson Palmer and that Bengal offense given how they've been struggling. Overall, I may be just worried over nothing but everytime I think of that Arizona game it makes me sick and I never want to see a showing like that against a team the Saints should've beaten.

Why must every game with a crap record team be labeled a trap game? I think it's safe to say that the Saints are not taking ANY game lightly. Not this late in the season, not when we have a LOT to play hard for.

When you're trying to catch a division rival, you take every game very seriously.

check the '06 game

that may be true, but see what good it did him against the Cats back in '06. 595 yards total (with only maybe 50 rushing) is great, but he had one, or shall i say FOUR BIG problems in that game.

Drew wasn't the problem in that game as much as allowing Rudi Johnson to rush for over 100 yards and allowing Ochocinco to catch for nearly 200 yards receiving and 3 TD's and that was a better Bengals team we were facing (they were 8-8 or 9-7 that year IIRC). In other words, our current defense is light years x2 ahead of what we had in '06 so we shouldn't be worried one bit.

The Bengals' D have been laughable this entire season. Their other starting corner Johnathan Joseph is injured, which only makes matters worse for them stopping the pass, they've allowed teams to run all over them (ranked 23rd against the run, allowing 123 ypg), they've allowed the 5th most points per game in the entire league IIRC, and lack a consistent pass rush like they had last season. The Saints have been on a roll as of late and understand they can't take any game lightly because of ATL and Tampa.
