There are the traditional grand restaurants that have received relatively little love--Galatoire's, Commander's Palace, and Antoine's (in a private room with a large party).

Another suggestion: Sal and Judy's in Lacombe. It's worth the trip across the Causeway.

I haven't looked through them this year, but I always thought Pelican club did a nice one.
