Yeah, I had to go find it. There was a section about just the Saints. The post was pretty much all Broncos and then OBTW, Saints hire Flores because we interviewed him before.

He goes through several coaching change scenarios - including Panthers, Cardinals, Texans, Colts - but yeah, nothing more to make of it than anybody else doing that.

Interesting that nothing about Dallas hasn’t been said in a while..

Dallas is one of the top NFC seeds so giving up 1sts for Payton doesn’t make sense for them unless McCarthy falls apart. This will likely be a competition between LA Chargers and Denver for Payton. I can see Indianapolis and Las Vegas making a darkhorse push, which can be used as compensation leverage for us. Even better if Dallas joins in and set the bar at two 1sts minimum.

I think the author was lazy with the Flores as HC just because Loomis interviewed him before. There is 8 weeks of games already played and potentially other options out there.

Miami is better without Flores and Tua is blossoming as a QB. Flores was holding that back.

I wonder how likely it’d be to see Flores hired early in-season.

If there’s more losses under Allen and fall to 3-8 or 3-9, do you fire him and choose an interim from Allen’s staff between Richard, Marrone, or Nielsen and hope for the best the rest of the way? Or get the new HC process started early during the bye?

I’ve never seen an outsider hire in season except for just recently in Indianapolis.
But if we can get Flores now and he can salvage this season with the division still so close, I’d say do it!

Kind of a head-scratcher for me here. All the guy does is leave it on the field @ 100 % no matter where he's lined up.

You have to create more ways for playmakers to get involved in games.

I love that SP’s name is coming up all over the place when it comes to openings. Some team is going to give a ransom for him. Fingers crossed it’s a team he wants to go to.

I just don’t se any team giving a “ransom” for him. The Saints will be lucky to get a single #1 pick.
