Bobby Hebert said he hopes Eli Apple goes to IR (1 Viewer)

I had not listened to the point after in quite some time....I listened to most of the show tonight coming back from a Christmas party. Hebert is toast. Like obviously intoxicated. He's always been a little looped up in the past, but tonight he's straight drunk.

I didn't hear the Apple comment, but I can definitely believe it happened. It's amusing, but he's not a guest....he is part of the regular show.

Garic even Said d that wishing injury was horrible . He said it a coupe times and wants Jenkins starting.

Bobby is awesome. He is funny and knowledgeable - and most of us have said a thing or 2 about a player we are frustrated with. He doesn’t actually hope Eli Apple goes to IR he just wants someone else to start over him. I love listening to Bobby. He’s a fan who happens to be about as knowledgeable as they come. Not only that he’s a big reason that Coach Oeaux played college football and thus by extrapolation became a coach. He’s fun as heck.

I heard it. It was at that moment I knew he was sauced even more than normal. KG admonished him and tried to give up an opportunity to take it back. He did not.

If he doesnt actually wish it, he should apologize. It's is unacceptable for a professional broadcaster to say that on-air. He's not some moron on a fan forum, but if he wants to be that should be arranged.

I don’t want Apple on IR but I curse him nearly every game. Tired of seeing him get beat and extend drives with his penalties. Teams come right out and say their game plan is to target Apple. They don’t do that because he’s “having a good year.” Herbert was an idiot for saying that, though.

Wonder what Herbert would have had to say about Herbert throwing THREE Ints to blow the Eagles game in '92. (munches popcorn)

I was there.
He’ll never live that down.

tgat was the worst of all but there were other big games we needed a good game and Hebert couldn’t rise to the occasion.

He was anti-clutch.
