New drinking game: Every time the announcer "gets over exited" (in volume and/or "higher octave") in relation to what is actually happening on the field, take a drink.

(If you had started this at the beginning of the game, you'd probably be tipsy already!)

(And by the end of the day game, the ambulance will be there to take you away!)

Sad what announcing has turned into!

Yeah the announcer in the UT v. Arizona State game is over the top. On UT's first TD his call was "Hook Em'. Texas does the two step for the two play TD." I thought I was listening to the UT announcing crew at first. But he's been like that for both teams.

By the way, I will never understand why Arizona State took Sparky off of their helmets. That logo looks awesome today and always has.
