Add in Johnson at TE & that seems like a pretty good 5 wide at covering the whole field.with Thomas drawing double teams, cooks should thrive, as well as Deonte and Callaway getting teams' 3rd and 4th CB's instead of their ACE CB
Does anyone remember the game where WINSTON was AIRING IT OUT? IF, we can get SPEED again, I think many of you will simmer on the not sold on JW. Just saying.. Remember Devery when everyone dumped on him as hands of stone? Yet, when the scheme was right, those long plays were a thing of beauty. SPEED is more important than what we have now.We aren't good. I'd take Cooks in a heartbeat.
He's the perfect kind of WR for Jameis if we he comes back too.
Very true...we haven't had a chance to see what MT can do over the top because we never used him to go over the top. I would even go as far to say his physical prime was wasted. He could've been playing like Hopkins in his prime if he had a stronger arm to work with.MT is more than just "slant boy". Run AK and DH shallow and see if MT has the juice. We know Calloway can go after the contested ball too. I think MT was limited to the underneath stuff because our former QB could only go underneath.
Actually, we have, this exact same duo played together in 2016.interesting duo... never seen a duo like that before
Concussions are my biggest concern with him. You would have to use him on go routes that limit his chances of being clocked by a Safety to protect his health. He has some wheels and is pretty good at catching the ball. Giving him 5-7 targets a game would not be a bad thing. Throw to Thomas 8-10 times per game, other WR's get another 5-7 targets total, TE gets a few and RB's get about 8-10. Need to spread the ball around and Cooks would get open for sure.I wouldn’t be mad at it, but wouldn’t necessarily be thrilled with it either. At this point, we need help, and he would probably be a decent short-term help. He seems to still be producing. I just worry about past history and his concussions.
So no specifics just generalizations?Every WR is a diva. From high school up. Even the "hard working" wink wink divas. But that's ok. They deserve it for the splash. But there are levels of diva "ness". MT is low-end. And we should be thankful (but u know that is not the case).
Bruh, Nowwww I remember reading your interactions with other boardSo no specifics just generalizations?
Yes and thats where Callaway will flourishThomas and Cooks as your WR would make the WR #3 real deadly.
I don’t want to dive into your fantasies about my tongue, I just wanted to know what specifically makes Thomas a diva. You answered with what you answered with. My interactions with other board members are mostly positive. I have no problem pointing out double standards and hypocrisy that some posters use with certain players.Bruh, Nowwww I remember reading your interactions with other board
members. We are on the same side, dude. Not gonna tongue
