Welp. There it is. I did lean Parker, but Staley makes sense given Moore’s age and such. Staley’s experience will be beneficial.

Not who I was hoping for, but glad this is done and now I shall become a Staley fan until he gives me a reason not to.

I was hoping for Parker, but I do think that Staley is a good pick given his experience as a DC, play caller, and HC. Parker was exciting, but we don't even know if he can call plays. I'm not sure Staley is a guy that can create a great defense without talent, but I'm not sure any DC really can. Even Fangio went years with mediocre defenses when he didn't have talent.

Anway, I'm excited that we are getting the Fangio system and I hope they find a great DB coach to help Staley implement coverages better that he did with the Chargers.

Well a lot of people here were hoping for a 3-4 now we have it. Let’s hope Staley can get the personnel signed for the change. Next year the Saints are going to be entirely different on both sides of the ball.
