maybe about a year ago i tried to remember his name - i think we were debating how complicated SP's route trees are and how much time it takes to pick it up - i racked my brain and just could not remember his name

What I am struck by is how many at best average starters we had on that 2012 team. This was not a terribly talented team.

It was mostly the 2011 team that set offensive records and should’ve went to the Super Bowl. What was missing was SP.

Just checked. He was with the Saints for 5 games and caught 4 passes that year. Two so far in this game. It was the last year he played in the NFL. He had a 7-year carreer though with 4 different teams.

What’s sad is that this season wasn’t the worst. We continued to break records in 2014, 2015, and 2016. Every year I would go in thinking it can’t get any worse and it did lol.
