I'm still not getting what you are saying. "desperately"? Really? I think we'll be just fine. Brees got a little greedy but did you really doubt he'd put the team in position to win? I never did.

when given the chance i would never doubt that he would come through but his interceptions were very close to not giving him a chance at all at the end. if the falcons offense had capitalized off of that second interception then the game is likely out of reach. nevertheless they failed miserably and our defense had a lot to do with that

The oline needs to block. I seriously think that brees was hurried on every play before that last 90 yard drive. I do not remember a play that brees did not have to ballerina dance himself out of a sack. The interceptions come from frustration not being able to get to the end of his dropback cleanly. Block for him though and he will drive 90 yards alll day.

At first glance, it's infuriating.

At second glance, I can excuse it and even rationalize it.

We all have to come to terms with the fact that we have an all time great right now playing QB for the Saints. Without him, we're 5 and 11. With him, we're SB champs. Sometimes he's Brett Favre because there's nothing he's afraid of except losing. His fear of losing sometimes leads to greatness and sometimes leads to risks that upon failure appear laughably stupid.

I'll take those failures and another SB any time.

Tonite, we beat a 12 and 2 home favorite. We held them on D and we beat them with Brees despite the turnovers.

I don't care that I will be flamed but Brees needs to stop with the crazy panic throwing. Those seven points could have been the difference in the game. If this were Reggie bush, people would be livid. It's embarassing hearing them call it Favre-like. To be truthful, the two passes this year against the falcons are Brooks-like.

Colston needs to get that coach back and play catch with the ball with the colors on it or whatever. His case of the dropsies can no longer be excused. It has reached the point where Colston catching is as much of a surprise as Henderson catching.

Pretty soon, it will be the playoffs and our players need to be playing their best football.

What are you on? Drew is easily the best player in the history of the Saints, and you need to tighten him up? Seriously?

This is an insult to Henderson, who catches most balls that are thrown to him. Colston's hands have been poor ever since his finger injury a couple of years ago. He leads the team because he gets more balls thrown his way, but I'm sure he has way more drops than anyone else on the team.

Getting sick of seeing brees throw stupid passes...just take the damn sack.
Colston drops passes that he should catch but he also is thrown to more than anyone...your going to get both in that case.
