British International Saints fans say Caesars Superdome security defaced their flag at Giants game (3 Viewers)

Pyrotechnics at its worst!
That particular picture, it is actually people lighting flags on fire. The most bitter rivalry in Argentinian soccer is Boca Juniors vs River Plate, a rivalry that transcends Argentinian borders. I understand they have cracked down on it, but it used to be that fans would throw road flares at each other.

Still, people toss smoke bombs into the field with the colors of Boca and River. Talk about blocking your view of the game, and lax security.

This kind of stuff happens at almost every single game in Argentina. Not just Boca/River.

Yeah.....two sides to every story. Will wait to see if anyone from the Saints/Superdome responds
Have they posted a photo of the slashed flag? Anyone on the board here see anything go down? Not calling anyone lying liars, but this wouldn't be the first time a visitor to our fair city has omitted a few details in their complaint

I would be livid. This is so wrong on so many levels. The flag is awesome when you see it. To have security take it and slash it down the middle warrants a firing. This Brit spent thousands to fly over to show support for the Saints the past two home games. This doesn't look good for the Superdome and the way it's run.

Great looking flag!

Call it even for " The Battle of New Orleans"???

I noticed that flag during the game against Carolina and the Giants. I could be wrong, but I certainly don’t recall it being held up the entire time.

Edit: article asserts it was hung from the railing during the Carolina game. Surely confiscation, at worst, would be the proportionate response if they were obscuring the view of other fans.
