With the Butler signing, does this mean that we look elsewhere besides OLB in round 1? Maybe CB or Safety? OT?
Galette has a 3 yer deal. Butler has a 2 year, maybe 1. Wilson is on his final year and isn't a great fit at OLB because he can't rush the passer.
OLB will still be a top priority. This just means we aren't forced to throw him into the fire right away and let him develop properly like we do with every rookie we draft.
If he can't rush the passer then what can he do? I thought one thing he did well WAS rush the passer when used.
C'mon man, don't make me laugh at my own, please...
Champ - Dalton gets kudos, and about the best we got out of LSU. We really haven't had much success pulling out of our own back yard.

I'm going to assue this is the same reason Nhamdi hasn't made a decision yet. He's trying to choose between money and familiarity.According to Garic, Butler turned down higher offers to get another chance to play for RR.

New Saints LB Victor Butler says history with Rob Ryan, competition and a lunch with Mickey Loomis sold him on coming to New Orleans
