The brackets aside, that's actually a pretty good group of DL for the new coaches to work with. They all improved a little bit last year once Young was moved to defensive line coach.

They'll be coached by someone considered one of the best defensive line coaches in the business, so I think we'll see some level of improvement from all of them.

Not sure I expected anything less. Cam mentioned he knew returning would require a pay cut and they just had to work that portion out, but more importantly the vision for his role as a player needed to be in alignment.

I’m a “sunshine pumper” too. Because “sunshine pumper” is meant to be an insult, because it goes against the negative narrative. I’m being strong in my statement to wake people up. They are being misled on purpose. Think about it, did we really expect to win right away after losing Drew Brees AND Sean Payton? It’s Shocking that we even went 9-8. But an accepting mass of sheep lose interest. But a Po’d mass of sheep click things. Keep them po’ed and they keep clicking things.

I don't see anyone as being sheep, puppets or puppet masters. I just see individual and group psychological dynamics in play. None of us are ever 100% rational, because we are emotional beings who happen to be capable of rational thought.

I don’t mean it as an insult at all. Truly don’t. And I’m sure I’m viewed as a negative Nancy even tho nothing football related will get me down, that’s not how I roll. I also have been a fan for a very long time and have always loved this team win or lose and I will as long as I’m alive. This team could never win another game and I’d still love them just the same. I view myself as a realist, and to me it seems the pumpers call that negative. Also seems that most of the time it’s the pumpers being condescending and or putting down anyone who isn’t pumping that same sunshine.

Is what it all is tho.

I think we find that the biggest thing will be addition by subtraction and that's in the coaching staff. We will be better by not having Grantham and having Bo Davis. And the rest of the D coaching staff. We will be much better at developing young players. DA was awful at that
