Kinda surprised they didn't put him on the pre-season IR or PUP or something. Wouldn't that open a roster spot? If not, it's a logical cut with a small dead money hit.

Crazy that in 2019 some knee injuries can still ruin a player's career. Meredith was on his way to being a pretty good player. Now his career is probably over.

I wish it would've worked out. I wish him the best of luck.

We're really going to be relying on the development of TQS and Kirkwood now. This even opens up more of an opportunity for Simmie Cobbs and Emmanuel Butler. We have a young but promising crew of WR that really need to step up.

Also make the Rishard Matthews signing a great move.

Matthews made him expendable. Now the WR battle for the final spots will be interesting to see. It’s going to be a fun preseason as it should be wide open for someone to step up and take these spots.
