That was a melt down truely epic. You could just tell people lost faith in something they loved having integrity. I know I felt it. I wasn’t a member at the time, but I recall people feeling the same way I did. A sport and league they believed in, was to some degree, fake.

I can’t think of anything post Katrina that would come close to the epic meltdown that would occur should the saints lose to the panthers this weekend.

Less than 10 percent of the board would care. This may be the one where 50 plus% don't even watch. Like going to a pit bull fight. Who wants to see something so sad and horrific. God help the poor souls who have paid to watch Sunday in person.

If the regular season is going to be hell, at least give us an interesting offseason.

I don't think a lot of us are invested in this season anymore. The reality is we are only 1 game up on Carolina. It wouldn't be some huge shocker to lose.

If we lose, some of us will feel like it pushes the Dennis Allen situation closer to critical mass. So, no, I don't think a loss is a big deal.

It won't be as bad as you think since many on this board (not me since I always want my to to win every game) have actively hoping the Saints lose out so they can get DA and they hope Mickey fired and for the so called better draft pick.
