Seriously I will not be surprised if the Saints lose on Sunday!

Not sure if it would be a meltdown; I think it would be more of an “At peace with the suckage” moment, and we’ll all change gears and start looking at the draft, potential coaching hires, etc. and merely watching games to see who we think we should keep for next year.
I don’t think Carolina has a chance though, maybe if Dalton was playing.
I don't post much, mostly lurk, but that no-call definitely changed my overall engagement to the NFL in general. Definitely took some of the enthusiasm and fire out of it for me. Haven't been the same since.I’m idk. I remember reading these boards after the NFC no call.
That was a melt down truely epic. You could just tell people lost faith in something they loved having integrity. I know I felt it. I wasn’t a member at the time, but I recall people feeling the same way I did. A sport and league they believed in, was to some degree, fake.
Which makes it all the more infuriating that everyone from ownership to management don’t seem to care just as long they stay wealthyThis.
We Saints fans have gone through the stages of grief: denial (no way the Saints are this bad), anger (fire everyone now!), bargaining (if the Saints just get the o-line back, they were just a field goal away), depression (well, as long as DA and ML are here, they will always lose) and finally, acceptance or in this case apathy.
If/When the Saints lose Sunday, there will be a mild meltdown but I think that will be the checkout time. They lose, people will stop supporting and going to games. That is when they will hit rock bottom.
The problem is that the Saints front office has more apathy than Saints fans. At this point they don’t care. There is no accountability. How much of my emotions should I invest into this failing franchise when they don’t care? This.

It was like watching a preseason game last weekI'm not expecting too much either way at this point. I'll watch the game, but it will be sort of a detached, how's my ffl team doing sort of watch.
How do you know that? You work in the front office or something? The problem is that the Saints front office has more apathy than Saints fans. At this point they don’t care. There is no accountability. How much of my emotions should I invest into this failing franchise when they don’t care?
In slow motion! Seems like the last few games the players were moving slow.It was like watching a preseason game last week
