I watched every snap of every game. I saw a few times where if he would’ve maintained high energy the play would’ve worked back to him and he could’ve made a play, So there’s that. But I wouldn’t say he’s a chronic slacker.

The stigma with his slacking dates back all the way to Washington, then SF. You think he was just loafing around here? If the perception of him, while truthful, then he wouldn’t be a journeyman in his young career. Y’all keep talking like he’s some bad mama jama, but he’s a guy who has literally played like Jane while looking like Tarzan

Nope. Neither does signing released players. So if we signed someone like Cooper Kupp or Evan Engram after being released they wouldn’t count either.

I watched some guy who has done a lot of film review on Chase since his arrival in the NFL. One thing he has consistently pointed out, was that Chase wins his reps if a Tackle uses two hands to block him, as Chase has great timing/strength with his rip move. However, if the Tackle uses one hand on him initially, then counters with two, then Chase gets lifted upright/stonewalled, and he then gives up. Now, if a random guy on a computer notices this, guess we can all imagine what opposing OCs/Oline coaches see on film. I don’t even Carr about that bc no one wins every rep. My issue is with his hustle and desire. I like Dawgs. He doesn’t seem hungry enough to be one.

Good thing he's not being paid like Tarzan. Top DEs make $40 million. Chase is making a bit less than that.

ya i agree. motor goes a long way. look at hendrickson and crosby. 3-4 rounders that never stop. Chase will never have that drive
